It lasted about three years before the bottom fell out... literally. I paid twice as much as this one. If you're looking for a high end chair, keep looking. If you're looking to save money and for something you can sit in for hours and still be comfortable, this one works.

Sturdy, the mesh is appealing and though I haven't owned it long it looks like it will wear well. I will say it is not "too" comfortable, but that is what I wanted, seat is a little stiff. I take that for a positive as I'll be working in it, not sleeping.

Otherwise, it's comfortable and easy on the lumbar spine. You do get what you pay for. I'd be surprsied if in fact it did retail for $289.00 That would be too much. [$]is on target.
